Paris Fashion Week AW 2012...Sarah

 

 Sarah Rutson, Fashion Director, Lane Crawford, Tuileries, Paris, February 2012. 

I first spied this beautiful Celine floral skirt on Tamu in NYC  so it was nice too see Sarah wearing it in Paris as well (with slightly warmer weather!). They accessorised differently but both teamed it with a crisp white shirt. I love the tiny taupe shrunken sweater that sits snugly over Sarah's button-down shirt.

Paris Fashion Week AW 2012...After Issey Miyake

After Issey Miyake, Paris, March 2012.

I love a pretty, fluid maxi skirt although I probably associate them more with summer (throw on a tank and flat sandals and you are good to go), than winter. The way this model has teamed the blush pink skirt with her leather jacket and coat makes me think it can work for all seasons!

Today's posts are all about shorts: short, cute and frilly, mid-length and tailored, high-waisted, patterned or disguised as a skirt. And Hanneli's frilled leather shorts are probably the kind of shorts that you either absolutely love or absolutely loathe. Me? I love them. On Hanneli....they probably  most definitely aren't going to suit everyone. They are fun, eye-catching, a little bit cheeky and I love Hanneli's styling.

Paris Fashion Week AW 2012...Grace

There is something about New Zealand born, Paris based Grace's style that I absolutely adore. It's...unaffected, undone, honest somehow....rather like that of another one of my girl style crushes, Ursina. It is refreshing to see at fashion week. And of course I am crazy about Grace's freckles ;)

One of my friend's said to me at Chanel, "Ness, I just photographed a girl you would love....she is SO your type". When I looked at the photograph on the back of her camera, it was Grace! It is funny that most of us photographers at the fashion weeks have a particular type of girl/style we like photographing. It is what keeps things interesting, I think.
